What is sold here

A Curated Journey, $750. A wine trip researched and written for one traveller. Sending the request form costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Nothing is owed until we have talked it through and agreed the trip is worth doing. If you pay and then change your mind before the work starts, you are refunded in full.

The guide and the free material

The written guide and the free downloads are published for information. Every detail in them is checked against the producer’s own website on the date shown on the page, and anything that could not be confirmed is left out rather than guessed at.

Wineries change their hours, their prices and their booking rules without telling anybody. Confirm directly with a producer before you drive to it. The Vineyard Society is not responsible for a journey made on information that has gone out of date since it was checked.

Independence

No producer, restaurant or hotel pays to be included, and none ever will. There are no affiliate links and no commissions. Recommendations are made on their own merit, which is the only reason they are worth reading.

The demo

The itinerary builder at /try/ is a demonstration. It generates suggestions automatically and they are not individually verified. Treat what it produces as a starting point, not as the researched guide.

Who writes this

Everything here is written by one person from first-hand visits. Photographs are her own.

Using the content

The writing and photographs belong to The Vineyard Society. Quote a little and link back — that is welcome. Republishing a guide entry whole is not.
